Mo Tribe is inspired by a locally weaved fabric called Fugu(Smock) Fabric, which is a native fabric worn by the people of the Northern Regions of Ghana. It was worn by the Royals and for special or specific occasions such as Festivals. It is also worn as a sign of respect and appreciation when visiting an important figure. The Fugu is customarily worn by men, while the women use it as a wrapper and a head tie.
This fabric is woven by hand on a traditional loom with various yarns(cotton fiber) woven together into strips of the Fugu Fabric and it's mostly handwaved by Women which comes in two types the Dyed and the Non-Dyed Fabric.
